Toyota Corolla driven by Doyle Lewis was going northbound on Highway 214 when he lost control of his car and crossed into the opposite lane. He slammed into a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Mark Clyde, that was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His passenger was taken to another hospital with serious injuries.
Portland Police is investigating an August 18th accident at Southwest Broadway & Southwest Yamhill Street. The accident involved an electric scooter and a bicyclist. Paramedics responded and an ambulance was called. The bicycle rider was taken to the hospital with injuries. It was determined the scooter rider was going the wrong way on a one-way street and hit the bike as it went the right direction.
Police responded to a car crash on Highway 224 in Clackamas County when Buick Lesabre, driven by Violet Sullivan, 88, was going west on Highway 224 when she turned left in front of a motorcycle, driven by Russell Nelson, 65. Unfortunately, Mr. Nelson was killed at the scene of the accident.
