4 Serious Car Crash Highway 5 Woodburn

On October 26th,  early in the morning 2019 Mazda sedan, driven by Valieria -Villasenos-Sibrian, was going S on I-5 when it rear-ended a 2013 Toyota Scion, with Artemio Davila. Davila’s car left the interstate, went under the cable barrier in the median and was hit by a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by Vanessa Underwood. Mr. Davila did not survive. For some reason, a passenger in Davila’s car left the crash scene and has not been found. 2017 Dodge Ram pickup, driven by Theresa Peters, was going N when it hit the Santa Fe. All four people in the Santa Fe and the Ram driver were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Deadly Car Crash Stayton Highway 22E

October 19, Near Stayton on Highway 22 E, Mercury Marquis driven by Mark Higley, was going W. The driver was trying to turn onto Fern Ridge Road. A Chevy Suburban, driven by Wendy Dethman, was going E. Higley turned into the path of the Suburban and was hit head-on. Higley’s wife, Ella Higley, died in the crash. Two passengers in the Suburban, Robert Detham, and Neoma Miller, suffered serious injuries.

Fatal Car Accident on 84

Dodge pickup, driven by Lynn Dale Hiatt, was driving westbound on I-84. It took the 188 exit but didn't negotiate the turn safely onto US 385 N. The pickup drove across the southbound lanes of US 395 and hit the left rear of a tractor-trailer. The truck was operated by Andrei Ceban. Hiatt died at the scene. His wife, Remedios Hiatt, 76, suffered serious injuries.

2 Vehicle Fatal Wreck on I-5 Off ramp in Marion County

On October 9th, 2 vehicles fatal crash occurred on the I-5 offramp on Oct. 9 in Delaney County. Dodge Intrepid, with Anthony Fisher, was driving S on the I-5 offramp and did not stop at the Delaney Road intersection. It was hit by a tow truck going W with driver Christopher Helige. Fisher was taken to the hospital, where he died. Heilige suffered serious injuries.
