Serious Injury - Truck-driver from Salem

Oregon State Police had to investigate a single-vehicle tractor-trailer crash on I-5 on June 8. The truck driver Steven Howard, from Salem, was driving northbound on I-5 when he slammed into the impact barrier between the travel lanes and Exit 233 off-ramp. The truck skidded and rolled over on the exit lane. The driver was seriously injured.

On September 24, 2019, on Highway 58 at I-5 interchange near Goshen, Oregon Jeep Cherokee with two young people inside – a driver and his passenger - was going east. Highway 20 Has Proven Scary and Dangerous Again

Police responded to a one-vehicle car accident on Highway 20 near milepost 134 in Harney County. GMC Acadia, driven by Moria Shackelford, was going west when the car left the road and hit a raised driveway, causing the vehicle to go airborne. Three out of Four children were seriously injured, the youngest one died from her injuries. The driver had was injured as well.

Car vs. Motorcycle Highway 214

A serious accident on Highway 214 in Marion County led to serious injuries and death. Toyota Corolla driven by Doyle Lewis was going northbound on Highway 214 when he lost control of his car and crossed into the opposite lane. He slammed into a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Mark Clyde, that was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
