Fatal CAR CRASH Highway 99

On Oct. 5, early, on Highway 99 in Jackson Country Mazda, driven by Dakota Arthur, was driving at a high rate of speed when it slid into a power pole. Mr. Arthur died at the scene. The passenger, Danielle Ramirez, 24, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

On Oct. 2 at early in the morning Toyota Tundra, driven by Esmeralda Martinez, was going E. She lost control and slammed into a tractor-trailer going the opposite direction. Ms. Martinez was killed. Serious Injury - Truck-driver from Salem

Oregon State Police had to investigate a single-vehicle tractor-trailer crash on I-5 on June 8. The truck driver Steven Howard, from Salem, was driving northbound on I-5 when he slammed into the impact barrier between the travel lanes and Exit 233 off-ramp. The truck skidded and rolled over on the exit lane. The driver was seriously injured.

On September 24, 2019, on Highway 58 at I-5 interchange near Goshen, Oregon Jeep Cherokee with two young people inside – a driver and his passenger - was going east. For some reason, the driver turned in front of a tractor-trailer to get on I-5 north but it didn't make it.  Jeep was hit on the passenger side where Aiden O’Grady was seated.
