PORTLAND, OR – A collision involving a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle on I-5 claimed the life of a 79-year-old man early Wednesday morning, KOIN reports.
Police say a Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Michael Elliott crashed into the Volvo semi-trailer as it was being towed down the interstate.
Elliott was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later. The driver of the tow truck, Walker Farnham, 26, was not injured in the crash.
