VANCOUVER, WA – The driver of a stolen pickup truck fatally struck a man in north Hazel Dell on Sunday and then fled the scene, FOX 12 reports.
Police say the driver of a stolen Ford F-250 ran a red light at NE Highway 99 and NE 88th Circle just before 1 p.m. and crashed into a sedan.
The sedan’s driver, 52-year-old William Stevens, was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
The driver of the stolen pickup fled the scene. It is unclear at this time if any arrests were made in connection to the deadly crash.
