News: 2 teens killed in single-vehicle crash near Sandy

CLACKAMAS CO., OR – A single-vehicle crash near Sandy claimed the lives of two teens early Wednesday.

According to a report by KPTV, the collision happened in the 41800 block of Southeast Wildcat Mountain Drive, near the intersection with Firwood Rd.

Deputies say a white pickup truck veered from the roadway and into a tree. Both occupants, ages 15 and 17, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, investigators believe speed played a role.
