PORTLAND, OR — One person was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after a collision near Wilshire Park in northeast Portland’s Beaumont-Wilshire area, according to KOIN 6 News.
The Portland Police Bureau said the wreck occurred in the area of Northeast 33rd Avenue and Northeast Mason Street, shortly before 12:30 p.m.
Officials have not disclosed details on the cause of the accident, but one person suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.
It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved.
A section of Northeast 33rd Avenue between Northeast Shaver Street and Northeast Skidmore Street was shut down during the investigation. Parts of Northeast Mason Street were also blocked off.
