PORTLAND, OR — One person was hospitalized Thursday night after a hit-and-run collision near Grover Cleveland High School in southeast Portland, according to KATU2.

The crash happened at the intersection of Southeast Powell Boulevard and 30th Avenue, in the city’s Creston – Kenilworth neighborhood. It was first reported at about 8:50 p.m.

At this time, authorities have not disclosed the circumstances behind the incident, but a driver fled the scene, leaving one person with life-threatening injuries.

It was unclear whether the victim was a pedestrian or an occupant in a vehicle.
