WASHINGTON COUNTY, OR — One person had to be extricated from a vehicle after a crash on Northeast Evergreen Parkway in northeast Hillsboro, reports KATU2.
The accident happened at the intersection with Brookwood Parkway, near Brookwood and Evergreen Park. Crews with Hillsboro Fire & Rescue responded to the scene at around 7:00 a.m.
Few details have been disclosed at this time, but authorities said two vehicles were involved.
It was unclear whether anyone was seriously injured, but firefighters had to extricate one person who was trapped in the wreckage of one vehicle.
Commuters were urged to proceed slowly and with extra caution through the area as first responders worked the scene. Delays were anticipated.
Multiple agencies, including Metro West Ambulance, Hillsboro Fire, and Hillsboro Police, assisted in the response.
