COWLITZ COUNTY, WA – A man was arrested after his 14-year-old passenger sustained injuries in a single-vehicle crash near Woodland Sunday evening.

According to The Chronicle, Landon J. Sexsmith, 19, was driveing southbound on I-5 at mile marker 20 when he attempted to pass another vehicle on the left shoulder.

He lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a cable barrier.

A 14-year-old bot was transported to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center with injuries. Sexsmith was uninjured in the crash.

He was booked into Clark County Jail. The charges he faces are not known at this time.
