PORTLAND, OR — Two people were seriously hurt Wednesday night due to a fiery rollover crash in Portland’s Roseway neighborhood, reports KATU.

The accident occurred on Northeast 82nd Avenue, between Northeast Fremont Street and Northeast Siskiyou Street, shortly before 10:00 p.m.

Few details have been disclosed at this time, but Portland Police said a driver crashed their vehicle, causing it to overturn. Moments later, it burst into flames.

First responders confirmed two people were rushed to area hospitals. One patient suffered life-threatening injuries and the other was seriously injured.

A section of Northeast 82nd Street was closed during the emergency response.

An investigation by the Portland Police Major Crash Team was in progress.
