DESCHUTES COUNTY, OR – Three people suffered injuries and a dog was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 20 Thursday.
A driver in a Ford F250 was headed westbound on the highway near milepost 13 when the pickup stopped and slid into the eastbound lanes reports KPTV. They crashed into an oncoming GMC 3500 pickup which was hauling a 35-foot gooseneck trailer.
The Ford overturned, ejecting both the driver and passenger. They were hospitalized with serious injuries. A dog in the pickup was killed.
The driver of the GMC also suffered injuries and was taken to an area hospital to be treated.
The incident remains under investigation.
