SALEM, OR – Four people died and three others were injured after being hit by a drunk driver in Salem early Sunday morning.

The fatal crash happened near the corner of NE Front Street and Division Street around 2 a.m. reports KOIN. 24-year-old Enrique Rodriguez had a blood alcohol content three times the legal limit when he crashed into the camp. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.

Two people were pinned under the car and died at the scene. Four others, including Rodriguez were taken to an area hospital with injuries. Two victims later died.

Those killed have been identified as Jowand Beck, 24; Luke Kagey, 21; Joe Posada III, 54; and Rochelle Zamacona, 29.

Derrick Hart, 43, and Savaanah Miller, 18, are in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Rodriguez was taken to the hospital initially but has since been booked onto Marion County Jail. He faces 4 counts of manslaughter, 2 counts of assault and 6 counts of reckless endangerment.
