PORTLAND, OR – Five people were injured in a crash involving two vehicles on SR-14 near Washougal on Saturday afternoon.
According to KOIN, Shawn LaBuff, 28, was driving east on SR-14 in a Chevrolet Avalanche when he attempted to pass the vehicle in front of him.
A Jeep Cherokee was traveling in the opposite direction when LaBuff struck the vehicle head-on. All three occupants of the Jeep were injured.
LaBuff sustained minor injuries and a passenger in his vehicle, 23-year-old Mariah Lucas was seriously injured.
Lucas was airlifted to an area hospital. The condition of the other three is not known at this time.
