YAMHILL COUNTY, OR — The Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash Monday afternoon on Oregon State Highway 18 near Dayton, according to KATU2.

The accident happened near milepost 52, in an area between Highway 99W and the Dayton Bridge. It was first reported at around 4:45 p.m.

Officials have not disclosed the cause of the wreck or the number of vehicles impacted, but a separate crash at milepost 45 in McMinnville also contributed to delays in the area.

Motorists were advised to find alternate routes. Those passing through the area were urged to approach the crash scenes with extra caution.

At this time, no information regarding potential injuries has been reported.
