News: Accident in NE Portland kills 1

PORTLAND, OR – According to KGW8 News, one person was killed in an accident that took place on NE Marine Drive in Portland on Monday.

The Portland Police Bureau reports that the crash took place shortly before 5:30 a.m. near the intersection of NE Marine Drive and NE 112th Avenue. A vehicle was found to have struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle and then rolled over into an embankment following the crash.

The driver was killed in the impact and pronounced dead at the scene.

NE Marine Drive will be closed between NE 33rd Avenue and NE 122nd Avenue while Police continue to investigate this incident.
