News: At least 1 killed in crash on I-84 near Cascade Locks

HOOD RIVER COUNTY, OR — Authorities responded to a fatal collision Tuesday on Interstate 84 near Cascade Locks, according to KATU2.

The accident forced a closure of the eastbound lanes at Exit 41 to Northeast Eagle Creek Lane, near the Bonneville Dam.

Oregon State Police have not said whether the wreck appears to be weather-related, but the closure impacted the eastbound interstate back to Troutdale.

At this time, authorities have not confirmed the number of people killed or injured.

An investigation remains ongoing.
