WASHINGTON COUNTY, OR — A 40-year-old man died Monday afternoon after his bicycle collided with a vehicle in downtown Hillsboro, according to FOX 12 Oregon.
The fatal incident occurred near Southwest Oak Street and South 1st Avenue. Hillsboro Fire & Rescue crews responded to the scene at about 2:00 p.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, but the Hillsboro Police Department confirmed the cyclist died as a result of his injuries.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
No pending charges have been reported, and no further information has been disclosed at this time.
