MULTNOMAH COUNTY, OR — A 34-year-old local woman was arrested Wednesday evening after crashing her vehicle into a business and fleeing the scene, reports KPTV.
The incident occurred at a salon in the area of Northeast 181st Avenue and Northeast Halsey Street. Gresham Police Department officers were called to the scene at around 6:44 p.m.
Authorities said the woman crashed her car into the front window of the salon, causing a chair to partially crash through a wall into another nearby business.
The female driver then fled the scene eastbound on Northeast Halsey Street from the intersection.
After a search in the area, officers were able to locate and take the suspect into custody. She has since been cited for suspected Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII).
No injuries have been reported.
No further details have been shared at this time, as an investigation remains in progress.
