PORTLAND, OR – According to KOIN6 News, a head-on crash on the Amity-Dayton Highway in Portland left one woman dead on Tuesday.
Authorities say the crash took place on Tuesday afternoon when 60-year-old Kristina Swanson was driving southbound in a Ford Freestar and attempted to turn onto SE String Town Road. Mid-turn, Swanson’s vehicle was hit head-on by 36-year-old Kimberly Hafner, driving a Nissan Sentra.
A passenger in the Nissan, 59-year-old Debra Neal, was killed in the collision and pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details have been released at this time. Police continue to investigate this incident.
