PORTLAND, OR — A man died Thursday night after his vehicle overturned and crashed through a fence near Portland International Airport, according to KATU2.
The fatal accident occurred in the 8000 block of Northeast Marine Drive and was reported at around 10:00 p.m.
An early investigation indicates the man was driving when, for reasons still unknown, the car rolled off the roadway and overturned as it slammed through an airfield fence.
Officers arrived on the scene to find the male driver deceased at the scene. No one else was in the vehicle.
A section of Marine Drive was shut down during the emergency response and initial investigation.
