PORTLAND, OR – One person died, and another was seriously injured in a collision on Highway 18 near Grand Ronde this past Monday.
According to KOIN, Steven Donaldson,67, was traveling eastbound in a Toyota Camry when he crossed the highway lane into oncoming traffic. He crashed into a Honda Accord that was traveling in the opposite direction.
His passenger, Angelina Rakestraw,35, was injured and transported to an area hospital. Donaldson was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unclear whether Christian Carlson Jr, the Honda driver, was injured in the accident.
