In that crash, authorities said the wrong-way vehicle struck two other vehicles, one occupied by one adult, and the other occupied by an adult and a child.

One adult from one of the victim vehicles suffered undisclosed injuries and was taken to a local hospital, as we the child for a precautionary measure.

The suspect driver, a 30-year-old man, and his unidentified passenger were both transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect faces charges of assault and reckless driver upon his release from the hospital.
