SCAPPOOSE, OR – A 66-year-old man was struck and killed in a pedestrian crash on Highway 30 Tuesday evening, reports KPTV.

The accident happened just before 10 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 30 near Crown Zellerbach Road.

The victim was walking along the roadway when a driver in a Chevrolet Tahoe struck and killed him.

It’s not clear what caused the fatal accident or if the driver stayed on the scene at this time.
