News: Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle on I-84 in NE Portland

8.10.22 UPDATE: This was a horrific accident. The pedestrian was hit by a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by an unknown to us, at this time, female driver. The investigation to this accident is still ongoing.

PORTLAND, OR – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on I-84 in northeast Portland yesterday, KPTV reports.

The victim was hit shortly after 1 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Northeast 82nd Avenue.

The unidentified pedestrian died at the scene.

The events surrounding the crash are unclear at this time. However, this story is still developing.
