PORTLAND, OR – Rush-hour commuters in the Tualatin area faced major delays after a tractor-trailer caught fire on I-5 on Friday.
According to a report by KOIN, the fire erupted in the truck’s trailer at about 9:30 a.m. near the exit to Southwest Nyberg Street.
It is unclear what sparked the blaze, or if any injuries were sustained as a result. However, traffic was moving slowly in the area for sometime afterward while crews worked to control the fire.
