TROUTDALE, OR – A man was fatally struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross a busy intersection in the Troutdale area last Thursday.

According to a report by KXL, 59-year-old James Colasanti was crossing near 257th avenue and 28th Street when he was hit.

Colasanti was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 5:30 p.m. Police say he was wearing dark clothing and not in a designated crosswalk when the incident occurred.

It is unclear if the driver involved in the deadly crash will face any charges at this time.
