PORTLAND, OR – One person died and two were seriously hurt after a collision in Portland’s Piedmont neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
According to KOIN, the fatal crash happened at North Vancouver Avenue and NE Columbia Boulevard around 2 p.m.
A motorcyclist crashed into a pickup truck that was towing a trailer. The collision caused the pickup to overturn in the roadway.
The person on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup and a 12-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
