PORTLAND, OR — One person was found deceased Tuesday morning after an apparent motorcycle crash involving a tree in north Portland, according to KATU 2.
Portland Police responded to the scene on North Expo Road, near the Expo Transit Center, shortly after receiving calls at around 6:30 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what caused the accident, but authorities said the victim appeared to have been riding a motorcycle when they collided with a tree.
The rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A section of North Expo Road between Denver Avenue and Marine Drive was closed as the Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team investigated.
No further information has been made available at this time.
