WASHINGTON COUNTY, OR — One person had to be pulled from the wreckage of a vehicle Wednesday morning after a crash near a Hillsboro shopping center, reports KOIN 6 News.
The accident happened at the intersection of Northeast Cornell Road and Northeast 25th Avenue, near Hillsboro Market Center. It was first reported by Hillsboro Fire & Rescue at 6:40 a.m.
No details have been shared regarding the cause of the accident, but medics treated at least one person at the scene for minor injuries. Hillsboro Police said no patients had to be transported to a hospital.
Photos taken at the scene show the driver’s side of a white passenger car atop the hood of a dark-colored passenger car.
All eastbound and westbound lanes of Cornell Road were blocked at the intersection during the response and investigation.
Motorists were advised to find alternate routes around the area, though the scene was expected to clear by 7:30 a.m.
