HOOD RIVER COUNTY, OR — Authorities were called to a semi-truck accident Monday afternoon that blocked part of Interstate 84 near Corbett, reports KOIN 6 News.
TripCheck, run by the Oregon Department of Transportation, indicated the crash happened about two miles west of Multnomah Falls at around 1:32 p.m.
The circumstances of the collision were unclear, but all eastbound and westbound lanes were closed in the immediate aftermath. Both the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office and Corbett Fire District responded to the scene.
At 2:00 p.m., only one eastbound lane and one westbound lane were reported blocked. By 3:30 p.m., the westbound lane had been reopened.
Motorists were warned of delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
Authorities have not confirmed any injuries at this time.
