PORTLAND, OR — A crash involving a commercial truck Tuesday morning blocked two right lanes on Interstate 84 in northeast Portland, according to PDX Traffic Alerts.
The accident occurred on the westbound lanes approaching Northeast 33rd Avenue, near the city’s Grant Park neighborhood. It was first reported at about 7:12 a.m.
Officials did not say what caused the wreck, but by 7:28 a.m., the two lanes appeared to have reopened. Motorists were told to expect delays as crews continued to work the scene on the right side of the roadway. A traffic backup had formed downed to Gateway.
At 7:50 a.m., more than 30 minutes after the initial report, the scene had been cleared.
