VANCOUVER, WA – A driver was injured after crashing into a flatbed trailer on I-5 southbound on Wednesday evening.
According to KPTV, the driver crashed on the interstate just north of the Mill Plain Boulevard exit. They collided into a flat-bed trailer that construction workers were using as they worked on the interstate.
The driver had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life and the manpower of seven firefighters. They were taken to an area hospital, although their condition is not known at this time.
It’s unclear whether anyone else was involved in the crash at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
