PORTLAND, OR – According to KOIN6 News, a head-on crash involving a reckless driver left one person dead and six others hospitalized with injuries in North Portland on Saturday.
Authorities say the crash took place near the intersection of Columbia Boulevard and Peninsular Avenue when a 21-year-old reckless driver crossed the center line of the road and struck an oncoming vehicle head-on.
The driver was killed in the impact. A passenger in his vehicle and 5 others in the second vehicle sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment.
Police continue to investigate this incident.
