MCMINNVILLE, OR – A boy was hit and seriously injured on his bike in McMinnville Tuesday afternoon, reports KGW8.
The boy was riding his bike in a marked crosswalk on Northeast Adams Street at Southwest 2nd Street when he was struck by a driver in a Ford F150.
He was transported by helicopter to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland with serious injuries.
The driver stayed on the scene to speak with authorities. It’s not clear whether he has been charged or cited at this time.
