BEAVERTON, OR – A woman was fatally struck while walking in a crosswalk in Beaverton Tuesday morning.
According to KATU, the elderly woman was in a crosswalk at the intersection of Hall Boulevard and Farmington Road around 7 a.m. A driver in a red SUV struck the woman and did not stop.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver fled the scene heading north on Hall Boulevard and made a left turn onto Farmington Road. Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to contact them at (503) 629-0111.
