YAMHILL COUNTY, OR – One person died and another was seriously injured in a two-vehicle car crash on Highway 153 late last month.
According to Clay County News, Steven Higby, 28, was driving northbound in a Honda Passport when he crossed the center line onto oncoming traffic. He collided head-on with a Toyota Camry, driven by 18-year-old Jacquelyn Kinder.
Kinder was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Higby sustained major injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
